What is UNMC Giving Day?

UNMC Giving Day — For the Greater Good is a 24-hour giving event to advance the University of Nebraska Medical Center, and we ask all supporters, near and far, to support UNMC with a gift to scholarships, colleges, programs, student organizations or our clinical partners and institutions. For the Greater Good is fueled by the passion of supporting the next generation of healthcare professionals, social media, and YOU! Take this opportunity to come together in support of our university and become a sponsor of For the Greater Good today!

What your sponsorship supports

Key sponsors are critical in ensuring the success of UNMC Giving Day — For the Greater Good by growing awareness for the event as well as by helping to secure donor support through challenge funding.

Ultimately, your sponsorship supports the University of Nebraska Medical Center, its students, and future healthcare professionals and researchers. Sponsors can choose to support dozens of different areas at UNMC and that support will, in turn, be leveraged to provide incentives for other donors to get involved and make a difference.

Your support will:

increase the visibility of For the Greater Good and UNMC;
provide awareness of your company and its support of UNMC;
motivate other donors to get involved and give back to UNMC;
encourage communitywide engagement with trusted nonprofit organizations; and

Challenge Sponsor

$250 and up

Sponsor a challenge benefitting your cause of choice, i.e., the College of Pharmacy Challenge awards $10,000 if the college reaches its donor goal of 200. Or, the 1,000th Gift Milestone Challenge which awards $1,000 to the area that received the 1,000th gift.
Your company name and website link will be added to the challenge you are sponsoring on the givingday.unmc.edu website.
Your logo and company name will be added to a dedicated sponsor page.
Your logo and website will be added to the homepage.
You'll receive social mentions when the challenge winner is announced.

For the Greater Good Sponsor

$250 and up

Sponsor the day of giving itself with a gift to a specific unit, scholarship support or a general gift that supports UNMC Giving Day challenges or promotion.
Your company name and website link will be added to the challenge you are sponsoring on the givingday.unmc.edu website, if applicable.
Your logo and company name will be added to a dedicated sponsor page.
Your logo and website will be added to the homepage.
You'll receive social mentions when the challenge winner is announced.
